too lazy

I'm just too lazy to post. Will contemplate after getting through these college classes. They are about to kill me at my age.

Winter journey

I'm ready for spring/summer.

Sheep or goat

When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on one side and the goats on the other. Then the King will say to those on the first side, Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me. I was sick and you looked after me. I was in prison and you came to visit me.
then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and gave something to drink?. when did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you? The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.

Then he will say to those on the other side, depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire, prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink. I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me. I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.'
They also will answer, Lord when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison and did not help you? He will reply, I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these you did not do for me. Matthew 25:31-45

Another one of those bumps in the road. I want to be more like Jesus and to serve Him more by serving others.

Between all the heated discussions and debates over who or what is right, I just wonder, which are we, the sheep or goat

Cold, brrrrrrr

I'm not good with the cold weather, shows my age, I guess. Even as a kid, I just didn't get into the snow. I did go sledding, though, but not for long. I can't even ice skate. Can't figure how anybody stands up on one single blade. Anyway, yesterday, I was sick, because of the cold, today, I'm better. Just another of those bumps in the road. God is still present today as yesterday. God is still here with me and my bump in the road.

Today I .......

Bumps in the road. Many they seem to be, just drive down the highways and look out for the potholes. But, the bumps I refer to, are those things that have gotten in the way of our personal lives. Let's see, our health, job, that leaky sink, time and many other too numerous too mention.
2008 seemed to have many bumps, almost too many to repair, so it's time to go over those bumps and stay on the highway God has provided for us. God is always there to get us around those nasty holes in the road, but there is always something or somebody trying to put up new roadblocks to distract us from the highway.

But, God is God, the great I Am. God is the beginning and the end. God is.......................................

So, in 2009 I trust that God will continue to place that loving hand on mine and just drive me over the bumps in the road.
